Bertani produces the Recioto with the grapes coming from the Valpantena hills the same variety of the Amarone It born from the littlest berries which have to wither for three months on the traditional arele The typical cherry aromas are exalted by the cherry tree wood aging It is thick and velvety but it leaves a clean palate with a nuts aftertaste it is the perfect sweet wine with an intense red color and elegant oak tannins It is made by Corvina Veronese 80 and Rondinella 20 grapes The density is 5000 trees per hectare and the cultivation is made by the Guyot method The grapes must wither for 150 days The fermentation starts at 4 5°C and achieve the 18°C and it is interrupted before the sugar become alcohol It follows the maturation in cherry tree woods tanks of 30 hl for about 12 months It follows a bottle aging for 3 months It has an intense ruby red color with a multitude of smells It has typical prune aromas together with cherry raspberry vanilla and cacao The taste is full fragrant and intense The sugars leave a long berries chocolate and licorice aftertaste This typical wine is perfect with bakery Fruit pies or with young or medium aged cheeses It has a proof of 12 and it has to be served at 10°C
