Product Information
Beside our bakery on mull is Sgriob Ruadh farm where Joe's parents Jeff & Chris established Isle of
Mull cheese. It's one of the few Scottish cheeses still made with the milk
from a single herd.
The cows graze in fields next to the bakery, amid the aroma of baking biscuits. Their diet of lush Mull grass and barley from Tobermory distillery
combine to give a fulsome flavour to the cheddar-style cheese, which we
lovingly blend with organic ingredients and gently bake in our unique
wood-fired ovens.
We wouldn't dream of using any other cheese in our biscuits. Dedicated experimentation may be required to decide the perfect drinks pairing for each
variety!
