Detailed Product Description
Lemsip Max Cold & Flu Capsules provide effective relief for headaches, blocked nose, tiredness, and body aches caused by colds and flu. Each capsule contains a combination of active ingredients—paracetamol 500 mg for pain relief and fever reduction, phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1 mg to relieve nasal congestion, and caffeine 25 mg to help reduce tiredness and drowsiness.
Recommended Dose
For oral use only. Swallow the capsules whole with water. Do not chew.
Adults, the elderly, and children aged 16 years and over: Take two capsules every 4–6 hours as required, up to a maximum of four doses in any 24 hours, or a maximum of three doses in any 24 hours if a night-time paracetamol-containing product is taken before bedtime.
Do not take more than 8 capsules (4 doses) in any 24 hours.
Do not give to children under 16 years of age.
Important Information
Contains paracetamol. Do not take with other paracetamol-containing products.
Talk to a doctor immediately if you take too much of this medicine, even if you feel well.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist before taking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not take if you are allergic to any ingredient, or if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, an enlarged prostate, pheochromocytoma, or if you are taking other sympathomimetic decongestants or MAOIs (antidepressants) within 14 days.
