Detailed Product Description
The Mooncup The Beginner Silicone Menstrual Cup is crafted for those new to menstrual cups, providing a comfortable, sustainable, and effective alternative to traditional period products. Made from ultra-soft, medical-grade silicone, it offers up to 8 hours of protection and holds three times more than a regular tampon. This beginner-friendly cup features a rounded rim for a secure hold, Tri-Flow™ holes for easy suction release, and internal volume markings for tracking. Its reusable design ensures it lasts for a decade, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice.
Direction for Use
To insert the Mooncup, find a comfortable position such as sitting, standing, squatting, or kneeling. Wet the Mooncup to facilitate easier insertion. Fold the cup using the ‘C’ or ‘Punchdown’ fold, then hold it firmly and guide it into the vagina, ensuring the rim is below the cervix. For removal, empty the Mooncup every 4-8 hours. Release the seal by gently squeezing the base or inserting a finger alongside the cup. Pull it out carefully, angling it sideways to ensure smooth removal and containment of fluid. Empty the contents into the toilet, rinse the cup, and reinsert. For cleaning, boil the Mooncup for 5-7 minutes or soak it in a sterilizing solution before first use and between periods. During your period, wash it with hot water and mild soap, ensuring the holes remain clear.
Ingredients
The Mooncup is made from medical-grade silicone, ensuring safety and comfort for all users.
