Nexium Control 20mg gastro-resistant tablets are designed for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms, including heartburn and acid regurgitation, in adults. Each tablet contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid your stomach produces, helping relieve symptoms all day and all night.

Unlike antacids and alginates that only neutralise or block acid already in the oesophagus, esomeprazole works at the source by reducing stomach acid production. One tablet daily provides 24-hour protection, helping you return to normal life in under two weeks.

The tablet can be swallowed whole with a glass of water or dispersed in still water (non-fizzy). Follow instructions carefully to ensure full absorption.

Do not take more than one 20mg tablet per day. It may take 2–3 days for the full effect. If your symptoms persist or worsen after 14 days of continuous use, consult your doctor.
