Directions for Use

For Indoor/Outdoor Fires

1. Place 1 or 2 Zip® firelighters on top of your coal, logs, briquettes, or a thin layer of cinders. If the fuel is particularly hard to light, increase the number of firelighters as needed.
2. Using long safety matches, ignite one corner of the firelighter. Try to minimize the draft around the firelighter to ensure a smooth and steady start.
3. Once the firelighters are fully ablaze, carefully add more fuel, being cautious not to extinguish the flames.

For Barbecues

1. Evenly distribute 2 or 3 Zip® firelighters among your charcoal or briquettes.
2. Ignite one corner of each firelighter with long safety matches.
3. When the firelighters are well - lit, slowly add more fuel, taking care not to smother the flames.
4. Wait for approximately 20 minutes until the coals have evenly turned to ash and are glowing brightly before you begin cooking.
