Detailed Product Description
This professional 25mm masking tape delivers precision edge definition for detailed painting and securing tasks. Featuring a conformable crepe paper backing and high-tack synthetic rubber adhesive (6.5N/25mm peel strength), it creates crisp paint lines on trim, cabinetry, and automotive detailing while withstanding workshop conditions. The writable surface allows for zone labeling during multi-stage projects, and easy hand-tearing enables quick adjustments without tools. Ideal for fine woodworking, model painting, and electronics masking where narrow, reliable coverage is essential.
Direction for Use
Prepare surfaces by degreasing and drying them, using an IPA wipe for metals and plastics. Apply the tape with slight tension along edges and burnish firmly with a fingernail or plastic card. Overlap ends by 10-15mm for continuous seals. For painting, apply coatings within 45 minutes of taping and remove within 24 hours for optimal residue-free release. To remove, peel the tape backward at a 150° angle and discard immediately after use.
Materials
Backing: Crepe paper. Adhesive: Synthetic rubber polymer. Release Liner: Silicone-coated kraft paper.
Product Warnings
Maximum temperature is 50°C, as the adhesive degrades above this threshold. Not suitable for high-heat applications such as engine bays or exhausts. Avoid UV exposure for more than 48 hours, as it weakens the adhesive bond. Test on delicate finishes like varnished wood or anodized metal. Wear EN 166-certified eye protection during removal. Store sealed at 10-30°C away from direct sunlight.
